FindingBerlin-Tours. A project for alternative tours through Berlin on special bikes. That is the idea. We love this city and believe that all Berlin-visitors should get an impression of the “Berlin on the second glance”. It is dirty, full of urban styles and attitudes, unique in history but famous for its contemporary life, poor, not always sexy, definitely reinventing itself every minute. There’s no chance to show you all of Berlin’s characteristics – we rather want to give you a glimpse of its attributes that makes it, well, confusing and therefore so interesting.
There will be no hop-in and hop-off tourism business here. All the tours we offer are designed to get you involved in this city. We do not want you to get to know places – we want to show you the soul of this city. This is not possible in big groups. It cannot be done by history-lectures. Stories will be told, people will be met and places will be experienced.
Bike tours always seemed so frustrating to me. Bunches of people on bikes that almost fall apart or that are as heavy as a tank – just impossible to enjoy all the beautiful places. That is why I tried a new approach. Why not providing bikes that are beautiful, comfortable but still fast and light. And bikes with style, with their own personality – their own story. All the bikes we have are unique. They are special and made for enjoyable riding.
We are committed to a responsible, sustainable tourism. All tours are limited to a maximum of 8 people. It is our highest priority to respect the ideals and cultural identity of all the places we visit. No rushing through sights – we want you to actually feel the vibe of each tour-stop and experience it together with us.
FindingBerlin-Tours. Ein Projekt über alternative Stadtführungen durch Berlin mit besonderen Fahrrädern. Das ist unser Ansatz. Wir lieben diese Stadt und glauben, dass auch Berlin-Besucher einen Eindruck vom Berlin hinter den Tourismuskulissen bekommen wollen. Berlin ist dreckig, es ist bespickt mit unterschiedlichsten Lebensstilen, einzigartig in seiner Geschichte und doch berühmt für das Leben im Hier und Jetzt, es ist arm und nicht immer sexy, es erfindet sich ständig neu und überrascht jeden Tag.
Fahrradtouren kamen mir oft sehr frustrierend vor; meist eine Horde von Menschen auf Rädern, die fast auseinander fallen oder so schwer sind, dass sie wie ein Panzer wirken – einfach unmöglich, um die schönen Orte Berlins genießen zu können. Deshalb verfolge ich einen anderen Ansatz. Warum nicht Räder anbieten, die wunderschön sind, die gleichzeitig komfortabel und schnell zu fahren sind. Fahrräder mit Stil, mit ihrer eigenen Geschichte und Persönlichkeit. Sämtliche Räder von FindingBerlin-Tours sind einzigartig. Sie sind besonders und garantieren ein genussvolles Radfahren. Wir haben Räder für unterschiedliche Menschentypen und bauen kontinuierlich aus.
Mit den geführten Radtouren wird Berlin nicht als Tourismusmagnet gezeigt, wir stellen unseren Gästen die (sub)kulturelle Hochburg mit einem pulsierenden Lebensgefühl vor. Während der Touren geben wir einen Eindruck von der Einzigartigkeit dieser Metropole und wollen Ihnen einen Hauch vom Berlingefühl mitgeben, das sich nur so schwer erklären lässt.
Wir verpflichten uns zu einem verantwortungsvollen und nachhaltigen Tourismus. Alle Führungen werden mit maximal 8 Teilnehmern durchgeführt. Es ist unsere höchste Priorität, die kulturelle Identität und die Ideale der Gruppen dieser Stadt zu respektieren und zu wahren. Keine schnelle Besichtigung von Sehenswürdigkeiten ist unser Anliegen – wir wollen, dass Sie ein Gefühl für die Besichtigungsorte entwickeln und Berlin gemeinsam mit uns erleben.
